Featuring a titanium case, the Eberhard & Co. Chrono4 Geant Full Injection watch replica was almost as light as a feather, but I suspect that the choice of the metal was just not right for a huge sporty watch that looks like a tank or a star destroyer, but is highly prone to dents and scratches. To correct their mistakes, the guys have created a limited edition Eberhard & Co. Chrono4 Geant Full Injection (Ref. 31062) that doesn’t just look tough. It IS tough. Although heavier than titanium, the metal is also a lot less prone to dents and scratches and is thus a lot more practical if you plan to use this expensive toy as a daily beater.
Judging by the specs and comparing images of the original and its limited edition variation, I must declare that the rest is basically the same.
Well, their signature “E-shield” was finally removed from the dial, but that’s only for the better: there is enough details on its face to further clutter the display.
The dial of the timekeeper still features a stylish metal plate with horizontal Geneva stripes motif and all, except of the central chronograph, hands are covered with some amount of Superluminova that makes the hot sale Eberhard & Co. copy watch more usable in darkness.
As you can see, the watch has an extra counter on the dial, which is still reserved for a military-style 24-hour display so that you can use it as a second time zone indicator: an extremely handy feature if you travel too much and continuously suffer from jet-lag.
The new version of the Chrono4 Geant features a highly scratch-resistant body, which is crafted from hardened carbonized steel that was additionally treated with DLC-Dianoir coating that further increases its resistance to accidental marks, while also making it look extremely cool bringing in associations with firearms and other “government issue” stuff that people seems to like so much.
Since the new Eberhard & Co. Chrono4 Geant Full Injection features the same water resistance rating of 200 meters, it can easily be used as a diving instrument, so the Swiss watchmaker equipped with watch with a unidirectional rotating bezel. It even has a luminous triangle at 0, so you can see whether it’s time to ascend even in darkest water.
